Thankfully, this past Thursday’s episode of The Office was new. It’s been a few weeks since a new episode aired and I was looking forward to watching.
At the beginning of the episode we saw Dwight and his friends, The Knights of the Night. Apparently, these guys helped catch the Scranton Strangler…not really. They did manage to play flashlight tag – it sounds like fun. Although, I bet if I tried playing that at midnight in an office park dressed like a Knight of the Night, I’d probably get arrested!
Pam created a resolution board so that everyone could publicly share their resolutions with the office. There were some pretty interesting resolutions on that board. We learned that Darryl wants to read more (good for him!) He talked Dwight and Andy into driving him to the bookstore so that he could shop. I’m glad to see Darryl getting involved in more stories, he can be so funny. Watching him on the roller skating rink was great. Here’s a random question: Where did Dwight get those kneepads from? Did he rent them or were they in his car? Hmmm.
The storyline between Michael and Holly went back and forth. I enjoyed watching Michael celebrate in his office with Erin. The way he interacted with himself on the computer was classic Michael Scott. “Michael Scott dance off!” At the end of the episode we saw that Holly called AJ and said that she wants to take a break. This could be a good thing for Michael.
Overall, I like this episode. There have been funnier ones, and we know that there have been worse ones. Some of the high points made me laugh out loud while others weren’t so great. I loved how Kevin reacted to Holly when she gave the double ring fingers. When the show was over, my wife told me that she wasn’t overly impressed by what she saw. For me, it was The Office and I got to see some of my favorite portray characters that I love. What more could I ask for?
