Oh yeah, you read that correctly, Jake and Vienna have broken up. I guess we all kinda thought that would happen; after all only a handful of couples from The Bachelor are still together. For all the “chemistry” that Jake claimed to be there between him and Vienna, I guess it wasn’t enough. I’m sure there is more to the story that I don’t know, but dude…c’mon… how bad do you feel now? He was so convincing on the show, maybe he was trying to convince himself too.
Having spent time watching the show last season and knowing how things played out on-air, it’s a little disappointing to see it end like this. Was all that time for nothing? What about all the stuff that Jake told us – how he really felt a connection with Vienna, how she was the one for him? Was that all fluff? I’ve only watched one season and I feel like I’ve wasted my time watching the show. I wonder how people feel that have watched EVERY season. So much stress, so many people involved, and yes Chris, so many Final Roses. Why even try to win? You know it’s not going to work out in the end anyway. I guess you go on the show and try your best to last as long as you can and maybe you’ll get to go on some cool trips, all expenses paid. I don’t know.
I’m really glad now that Tenley wasn’t chosen. Who knows, maybe Jake and Tenley would have lasted longer together, but a public break up is not what Tenley deserves. It’s still refreshing to me to know that Jake didn’t really choose the best girl.
Dude, I know! C’mon, we all saw this coming. The reason people go on that show nowadays is for the fame and publicity. Look at someone like Melissa who was on Dancing with the Stars and now co-hosts different shows. You know that a lot of other people are trying to follow in her shoes. But I guess we keep watching because we still hold out hope every time that it will work out…there have only been a few couples who have made it, but they prove that it can be done! However I think we all knew all along that Jake and Vienna were not one of those couples!!
I agree that they definitely were NOT a good match, but I think we’d all like to believe that somehow it could all work out and that Jake would live up to our expectations. Of course, at this point we don’t know who’s responsible – Vienna’s telling her story about them being apart for 6 weeks and then I saw them in a magazine on a “Birthday Vacation” for Vienna at the beginning of June where they’re all lovey dovey. Guess now we’ll have to see how Jake does on “Bachelor Pad”. What’s that all about???
