Well, Jake has his work cut out for him! There are 5 women left and it’s getting harder and harder to send women home. In this episode Everyone one got a date with Jake, there were 2 one on one dates and one two on one date. The date with Tenley was fun, they both went window shopping and had fun playing with random toys that were for sale in Chinatown. I think these two go together well, their personalities really line up.
Prior to the two on one date, Jake admits that he thinks they’re awkward. Later on, Vienna tell us that she’s going to act like Gia wasn’t even there. Well, that’s pretty awkward, isn’t it. Hearing that. I thought she was crazy. Jake’s going to notice something like that – I would. I got a real chuckle when he leaned up against Gia as Vienna was talking his ear off about something. Then he chooses to get some alone time with Gia first. Nice!!
Not to be outdone, Vienna pulls a real ‘smooth move’ by visiting Jake in his bedroom after the date. I could tell that he really wanted her to leave so that he could just go to bed. Only later on did she realize that doing sneaking off to see him wasn’t really the smartest idea. She’s just infatuated with the idea of being the last woman he sees at the end of the night.
Ali got a chance to show Jake around San Francisco, her home town. Things went well, she let Jake know that she respected his decision making and would back off on the whole Vienna thing. Well it’s about time! Sure we all can’t wait to see what happens next, but I was growing a little tired of the whole thing. Sooner or later Jake would’ve had to say something – enough’s enough! Why waste precious date time talking about another girl? Later on at the rose ceremony, Corrie is sent home.
One of the things that I really found hilarious was the way Jake acted in this episode. He let us know that he’s falling for pretty much every girl, of course! Each girl voiced their concern that he was either ignoring her or not really giving her the attention she wanted. Each time he had to smooth talk them, telling them he’s glad that she’s still there, or how proud he was to have her still around. It was funny to watch him work these women. Pretty soon, he’s going to have to make that decision. Four of these women that he’s fallen for have to be sent home. It will be interesting to see how things play out.
I can’t wait to see if Ali keeps up her promise to lay off the “Vienna bashing” – I just don’t think she can do it! We know tonight’s going to be extra exciting and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that someone decides to leave. It must be fun for another guy to watch Jake surrounded by all these beautiful women and I liked your observation of how he smooth talks them. I just wish he would be honest and let them know when he thinks that they’re being pests!
I guess we’ll know a lot more after tonight…
