The girls boarded two huge RV’s and embarked on a road trip along the California coast. Gia was given a one on one date. She and Jake spent the day at a vineyard where she wanted to play hide and go seek with him. Jake liked the fact that she was spontaneous. After that, they sat down and talked. The night was capped off with a campout under the stars. Gia told him that it was the most perfect date ever. Of course it is, when ABC’s footin’ the bill, why wouldn’t it be?
The RV’s made a stop at Pismo beach where the girls got to drive dune buggies. Ali took advantage of the moment and called shotgun on Jake’s dune buggy. The dune buggies looked like they were a blast. After that, the all went sand surfing which is probably more difficult than it looks. I think everyone must have fallen on their face at lest 3 times. The date comes to a close at an inn where Jake gets to spend more valuable time with the women. Vienna actually turns Jake down when he asks to talk with her. She wanted to be the last one to talk to him; apparently she wanted to be the last woman he kissed that night. Whatever, I guess. At the end of the night, Tenley got the rose, which was a smart decision.
Instead of another one on one date, Jake opted for a two and one date with Ella and Kathryn. This date must have been tough for everyone involved. Jake did some real decision making, he put things in perspective. He shocked everyone when not only did he send Ella home, he also sent Kathryn home! I was glad to see that he was mindful of the people involved. He didn’t want to waste Ella or Kathryn’s time if he was sure neither on e was going to be his fiancé. Kathryn told him that he was making a mistake sending her home. Now, for all you true Bachelor fans out there – how many times have you heard that? That’s what any woman would say! Who would actually get kicked off the show and say, “he made the right choice in sending me home”? No one!
During the rose ceremony, the importance of these decisions, as well as their difficulty was foremost on Jake’s mind. He has to make the touch choices now, he’s spent some time with each of these women and sending any of them home will be tough for him. I think Jake is in a hurry to get this over with, or at least he has an idea as to who he’s going to pick. He decided to let two of the women go at the rose ceremony instead of the planned one. He shocked everyone when he decided to keep Vienna around at least another week. Ali was EXTREMELY pissed and was whispering to all the other girls about it right after it happened. I can’t wait to see what she’s going to say to him about the whole thing. Part of me just wants him to say, “You know what, enough’s enough. I don’t want to hear it anymore”. Yeah maybe some of the women (maybe all of ‘em!) are annoyed that she’s still around, but don’t whine about it. Have some fun, open up with Jake and let him see for himself, confronting him might not be the best idea.
Love your new website! Great job analyzing the show and you’re “right on” with your comments. For someone who just started watching The Bachelor, you sure have the personalities nailed. Who do YOU think Jake’s going to end up with?
Also, am very glad that you’ve started blogging “Lost” for we know that this will be an exciting and action packed season. Since you recently watched all the seasons, you probably have a great handle on how everthing’s connected. That’s the problem with it being spread out over so many years – it’s hard to remember what happened 4 years ago!
Keep up the good work!!!
