Well it’s official, I’ve started watching Survivor. It was cool to become a fan again; it’s been a few years since I last watched and getting back into was fun.
The first challenge was a little physical, I thought. After it was over, the castaways were a little roughed up; there was a dislocated shoulder and even a broken toe! Ouch! The Villains lived up to their name and played a little dirty; it will be interesting to see if that continues.
The team chemistry couldn’t be any different. The Heroes seem to be working well together, while the Villains had some issues. Boston Rob noticed that everyone is lazy on the Villains team, and he’s right. He eventually creates fire by rubbing two huge sticks together. One of the castaways actually tried to discourage him from trying because he figured they’d probably get fire at some point in the game. What a cop out!
How about that Russell, huh? He’s a low-down-dirty-snake. You can see the wheels turning in his head as he assesses a situation. It will be fun to see how things play out with him around.
For those of you that read my first post on Survivor, you’ll enjoy this. The first immunity challenge involved putting together a puzzle on the beach! Ah, Survivor!
At the Immunity Challenge, the Heroes started out with a huge lead only to lose it at the end. They had trouble putting together the puzzle and lost to the Villains. At Tribal council, Sugar is voted out.
It’s a long game and things can change quickly, it will be exciting to see how everything works out. There are some pretty good players out there, some may be a little rusty, but once things really get going it will be tough to beat them.
