The Beginning

My wife has been my inspiration in creating this blog.  A new season of The Bachelor was about to begin and she was excited to be watching again.  I’ve never seen an episode in my life and never really had any desire to watch.  Based on what I saw on the commercials, it didn’t look like my kind of show.  There’d probably be too much bickering and name-calling between all of the women.  Not to mention the whole idea of the show – for one guy to find his “true love” among 25 women.  That seemed like a pretty desperate way to find love.  But, I’ll admit, this probably makes for some good TV and I see the appeal.

So I decided to start this blog.  My wife, her family and some of her friends were anxiously awaiting the premiere.  I thought to myself, “Why not?”  Maybe if I started from the beginning of the season, I might actually enjoy the show.  In any event, it would be something fun to share with my wife, and get a few laughs along the way.
